Die Cutting


     Die Cutting is the process used to create unusually shaped areas or to "cut out" certain shapes leaving a hole in the paper of a printed piece. The process can range
from something as simple as cutting out rolodex cards to something as complex as altering the shape of an entire finished piece.

    Line art in the shape of the desired cut is used to produce a cutting die. Die cutting allows a greater amount of creativity in producing items with irregular shapes that could not be produced with conventional trimming.
