Foil Stamping

Foil Stamping and embossing the same image offers a wide range of options for adding depth, contrast, and highlights to a printed project. The effect can be dramatic and colorful, or subtle and elegantly understated to perfectly express the particular tone and purpose of any communication.

The first step in this process is hot foil stamping of the desired image. Then the flat foil stamped image if the embossed (bumped up) to achieve a 3-dimensional effect. For large quantities or intricate designs, this process can be performed with a special brass foil / emboss combination die that will perform both operations simultaneously. These processes, when used together compliment each other and achieve some unusual and attractive designs.
