Lithography


     Lithography, also called offset printing, is accomplished by photographically or digitally imposing an image on a printing plate. The plate is then mounted on
the press where rollers carry ink and water to the plate's surface. The image is then transferred to a blanket and then to the paper.

    Imperial's offset equipment ranges in size from small one and two color presses, used primarily for stationary and spot color printing, to larger multi-color presses, used for full-color brochures and other promotional material. No other process has such a broad range of applications.
